Finally Hroyy! is back…

SBS Inkigayo is going to be extra special this week!

In case you haven’t heard, f(x)’s Sulli is going to be an official MC for the show, and along with her MC debut she will show off her dance skills by putting on a special stage dance performance.

Sulli will perform to hit songs including SNSD’s “Oh!,” ”Tell me your wish (genie),” as well as Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry” and Brown Eyed Girls’ “Abracadabra.

SBS Inkigayo said, “We feel Sulli’s bright and cute charisma is a perfect match for Inkigayo, which is why we chose her as an MC. We’re looking forward to it.”

Sulli has said she is nervous and exited to greet everyone as a MC, but is looking forward to trying something new.

The Korean media can’t get over the similarity between Lee Chae-young(left) at the Blue Dragon Awards on December 2^nd and the late Jang Jin-young. However, Jang Jin-young’s camp has denied the similarity, noting that only the hairstyle is similar.

With black and cream the color of choice, the starlets pulled out all the stops to show off their assets at the 30th Blue Dragon Awards. Kim Hye-soo, known for her “fan service” (i.e. showing off her cleavage), keeps her puppies under wraps-for the most part?in a sleek pee-a-boo black floor length dress. The “Gold Miss” keeps true to her role as the editor of a fashion magazine in the 2009 drama, “Style.” At the bottom of the list is Kim Ha-neul and her see-through nude colored chiffon dress. No matter how slammin’ your body is, there is no excuse to show off your white granny panties, period.

Well, that was fast!

It seems 4minute members Hyun-ah and Ji-yoon will be embarking on solo projects.

Not to worry, 4minute isn’t going anywhere but the group’s main rapper, Hyun-ah, and the (formerly) shaded wonder, Ji-yoon, have decided to try the solo thing for a bit. Given the success of “For Muzik“, the group’s debut album, it only makes sense that the two would milk their current popularity and steal the spotlight for themselves.

As of yet the girls’ reps haven’t revealed much about the upcoming projects. It has, however, been reported that the girls’ solo projects will highlight their unique charms, something that they weren’t able to do when promoting as part of the group.

The girls’ company, Cube Entertainment, released a statement saying:

“We have not yet decided which of the two will release their solo album first. The two  members are currently practicing  for their performances to the pop dance songs prepared for them. We will decide the details after work for ["For Muzik"] has ended.”

Hyun-ah and Ji-yoon are definitely the stand out members of the group. I wonder how what they’ll sound like on their own…especially Ji-yoon. Any guesses?

With their two fresh new members in tow, After School makes a strong comeback with “Because Of You“. The choreography and style are quite reminiscent of 2PM’s current look in “Heartbeat“, with the sharp suits and heart-wrenching dance moves. Despite this similarity, the aura emanating from After School during their comeback performances is bold and packed with raw gestures. “Because Of You” shows off a little more of these girls vocals, which aren’t all that bad, although I could stand for some more powerful lung capacity.

UEE has improved vastly in her stage presence, and has noticeably different facial expressions. NaNa doesn’t really add anything to the group, except for an extra body. Raina makes herself extremely useful as she has a fairly nice pair of vocal chords and they showcase them a good deal, but something about the way she carries herself on stage stands for some improvement.Ga-hee and Jung-ah are on point as always, and Ju-yeon brings just enough for me not to say she’s only there to look pretty. I wish Bekah would have had more opportunity in their comeback to shine, but she makes do with what she has.

Yoon Eun-hye is taking charge of her own life.
You may remember that the 25 year old left her old management company,Kraze,  to start her own, The House Company and keep all the fees to herself.

Smart move.
And perhaps even smarter is trying to up the reputation of her management company by associating it with charitable acts. Earlier this year, The House Company held a charity bazaar to raise funds and awareness to social welfare programs.

The Wonder Girls are climbing their way up on the U.S. Billboard chart.

Just the other day, we reported that the Wonder Girls had made their way up to spot 107 on the Billboard charts. Surprisingly, it has been announced today that they have jumped up 31 spots to 76 on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart.

In addition, it has been revealed that the girls have also reached #1 in album sales during October 12th to the 18th. Yes you read right, the girls sold a whopping 30,462 copies of their single, topping both Maxwell“Pretty Wings” album sales of 29,088 copies and Mariah Carey“Obsessed” album sales of 27,513.

Now, how do the Wonder Girls feel about breaking into the Top 100 on the Billboard charts? You’re gonna have to wait and find out this coming friday, as the girls have returned to Korea and will be holding a press conference this coming friday. At the conference, the girls will be sharing stories of their experiences and accomplishments in America, as well as future plans for their career.

It looks like things are looking brighter for the girls in the States. Congratulations once again to the Wonder Girls for making such an accomplishment!
